Baseball Position Student-Athlete of the Week – Feb. 13-19, 2017

In a 2-1 series win against George Fox, Massari hit .667 (6-9) with a .778 slugging percentage and .714 on base percentage.  He scored four runs, drove in five, and drew four walks. He began the series with a 3-4 game with a run and an RBI in a 10-6 loss on Saturday.  In Sunday’s twin bill that was moved to Newberg due to wet conditions at the Pioneers’ field, he was 2-3 with two runs and three RBIs in a 15-12 game one win, and 1-2 with a run, an RBI, and three walks in an 8-7 game two win.  He also had eight assists in the field with only one error.
