Lacrosse Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week – April 10-16, 2017

 

MEG CHAPMAN, Pacific (Ore.)

Senior, Defender, Woodinville, Wash. / Woodinville HS

 

Chapman helped lead Pacific to victories over Puget Sound 18-1 and Linfield 15-2 in the final week of the season with strong performances on the defensive end.  She recorded seven draw controls, 18 caused turnovers and 13 ground balls over the two games.  Against UPS, she had eight ground balls, four draw controls and eight caused turnovers, and scored a pair of goals. In the Boxers' season finale vs. Linfield, she notched 10 caused turnovers, which ties her season high for a game (three times) and is the second-most in a single game by any Division III player in the country this season.  She also had three draw controls, seven ground balls and one goal scored in that game.
