
HILLSBORO, Ore. — Pacific Lutheran’s Brad Hodkinson and Willamette’s Hannah Swanson were named Northwest Conference Cross Country Student-Athletes of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
Hodkinson (Jr., Snohomish, Wash.) picked up his third NWC Student-Athlete of the Week nod after winning his third consecutive race, edging the 2016 NCAA Division III runner-up in both the 800-meters and 1,500-meters by 4.1 seconds while finishing 38.4 seconds ahead of the nearest NWC competitor
Swanson (Sr., Seattle, Wash.) placed second out of 353 runners at the UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town ports Invitational. She registered a time of 22:35.69 and trailed only Cheyenne Moore from UW-Oshkosh.
