NWC Baseball Student-Athlete of the Week for April 23 - 29

Tasaka was Pacific's best and smartest hitter in the three-game series with PLU that clinched Pacific's first NWC championship in 33 years. Tasaka went 4 for 6 in the three game series with three runs, two doubles and three RBI. Most amazing was that Tasaka drew nine walks in the series, had a 1.000 slugging percentage and an .867 on base percentage. Tasaka finished the NWC regular season with a Pacific best .349 batting average.
