NWC Student-Athlete of the Week - Pitcher (Apr. 8 - Apr. 14)

Zarosinski won two critical games for the Bruins during a 4-1 week, pitching the Bruins into a half-game lead in the conference. In a 16-6 win at Puget Sound on Monday, he got the win with 6.0 innings of work, scattering 8 hits with 5 strikeouts and a walk while allowing 3 runs, 2 earned. On Sunday, he clinched the rubber game of the PLU series with a complete-game 5-hitter, fanning 8 with 2 walks and 2 runs allowed. He allowed only one PLU hit through the first six innings, and retired the Lutes in order in 5 of those 6 frames. He was 2-0 for the week with a 2.40 ERA, 13 hits allowed, 13 strikeouts and 3 walks in 15.0 innings.
