Josh Davis doubled twice and drove in four runs to lead Whitworth to an 8-7 win over Willamette in a non-conference baseball game at the Swing Into Spring Classic hosted at Gesa Stadium.

The Puget Sound baseball team breezed past Lewis & Clark behind another shutout from the duo of Matt Robinson and Jarrod Beiser. The Loggers (4-2) took the game 14-0, highlighted by a six-run eighth inning.

Handing the previously-unbeaten George Fox University Bruins their first two defeats of the season, both by one run and the second in stunning fashion, the California Lutheran University Kingsmen won a non-conference baseball doubleheader 8-7 and 14-13 Saturday afternoon here at George “Sparky” Anderson Field.
