NWC Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 26 - Oct. 2, 2011

Bruno led all players on both teams with 13 total tackles (4 solo, 9 assists) in Willamette's game with Linfield. He had 2.0 tackles for losses (4 yards lost) and forced a fumble. The forced fumble was with 4:25 left in the third quarter with Linfield leading 17-0 and about to put the game out of reach. The fumble was at the WU 2 and was recovered by Willamette in the end zone. Three plays later, WU scored a touchdown and eventually got back within 17-10, before Linfield clinched the win with a field goal with 3:17 left.
