NWC Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 8-14

Nelson led all players with 19 total tackles, including 10 unassisted tackles. He had 1.5 tackles for losses and broke up a pass as Willamette defeated Lewis & Clark. The Bearcats gave up just six points in the second half. No one else on either team had more than 10 tackles. Nelson is now Willamette's leading tackler for the season with 47 total tackles.
