MacTaggart had the best back-to-back games of the season, averaging 22 points and five rebounds per game in a pair of close PLU wins. He shot 63 percent from the floor and 85 percent from the free throw line in the two games.

Duckworth, a freshman guard, averaged 19.5 points, making 15-of-23 shots from the floor (4-5 3pt), in two victories and helping Whitman extend its latest winnign streak to seven games, matching its longest streak since the 1985-86 season. Duckworth had a near perfect shooting night against Willamette, scoring a season-high 23 points while making all eight of his field goal attempts (2-2 3pt) and five of six free throws. He also handed out four assists and made four steals. He helped Whitman clinch its first playoff in 15 seasons on Friday with 16 points and five rebounds vs. George Fox.

Taylor averaged 27.0 points. 11.5 rebounds. 4.0 assists with three steals and a blocked shot while shooting .719 on field goals, .333 on threes, and .600 on free throws in the Bruins’ 2-0 week. He posted double-doubles in points and rebounding in both games, giving him three on the season. Taylor led all scorers and rebounders in both games and assisted on the game-winning basket with 2.2 seconds left in the upset of Lewis & Clark.

Wiser registered the highest scoring output in 10 years at Linfield, tallying a career-high 39 points in a thrilling double-overtime win over Pacific. He hit two clutch 3-pointers to send the game to OT and 2OT, and tipped in the game-winning bucket with 1.5 seconds remaining. He also hauled in 15 rebounds, matching a career high. Wiser followed up that performance with a 16-point effort in another overtime victory at Puget Sound.

He shot a stellar .686 (24-35) from the floor and .700 (7-of-10) from the free throw line, and also hauled in an average of 8.5 rebounds per contest.

Anglin finished as the Boxers’ leading scorer in both NWC opening games. He hit the two clinching free throws with 1.4 seconds left to secure a key road victory at PLU. Anglin enters the week averaging 22.2 points and 6.8 rebounds per game. He averaged 24 points pre game and shot 60.7 percent from the field in the two games.

He scored in double figures in all three games and recorded a double-double against Northwest Christian with 31 points and 12 rebounds. He scored 21 points and had six rebounds in Willamette’s come-from-behind win at Concordia (Ore.).
