Whitworth 78, Lewis & Clark 66
The Lewis & Clark men's basketball team pulled within six
points of the Whitworth Pirates in the final minute of the game,
but were unable to pull out a victory. The #6 ranked Pirates held
on with time fading away, taking down the Pioneers 78-66 in
Northwest Conference action.
Whitman 76, Pacific (Ore.) 65
A 16-point first half deficit proved to be too much for Pacific to
come back from Saturday night as the Boxers fell 76-65 to a
fast-paced Whitman team in Northwest Conference men's basketball
action at the Stoller Center.
Willamette 85, George Fox 74
Terrell Malley (Sr., G, Portland, OR/Roosevelt HS) scored 20
points, while Sean Dart (Sr., Post, Bend, OR/Mountain View
HS/Eastern Oregon Univ.) added 14 points and 14 rebounds, leading
Willamette University to an 85-74 victory over visiting George Fox
University on Saturday, Jan. 5 at Cone Field
House.
Pacific Lutheran 75, Linfield 61
Cameron Schilling scored 17 points and PLU overcame an early
deficit to cruise to a 75-61 Northwest Conference win over host
Linfield Saturday night at Ted Wilson Gymnasium.
