last-second shot from Rex Holmes rattled out and Linfield downed
the University of Puget Sound 70-65 in a dramatic Northwest
Conference matchup Friday night at Ted Wilson Gymnasium.
Lewis & Clark 89, Willamette 78
Lewis & Clark College shot 53.3% from the field in the
second half, as the Pioneers surged past Willamette University,
89-78, in a Northwest Conference men's basketball game on Friday,
January 11. Willamette led by 48-43 at halftime, but L&C hit 16
of 30 field goals in the second half, including 7 of 11 three-point
attempts.
Whitworth 61, George Fox 59
George Valle's three-point play with 19.8 seconds to play
lifted 5th-ranked Whitworth to a 61-59 win over George
Fox in a Northwest Conference men's basketball game on Friday night
at the Wheeler Sports Center.

Danny Brakebush went off for 26 points Friday night to
lift the visiting Pacific Boxers past Pacific Lutheran, 81-73, in a
Northwest Conference men's basketball game played in Olson
Auditorium.
