George Fox University Bruins edged the University of Puget Sound
Loggers 77-74 Friday night here at the Wheeler Sports
Center’s Miller Gym and maintained a share of second place in
the Northwest Conference men’s basketball race.
Whitworth 88, Willamette 69
Dustin McConnell and Colton
McCargar combined for 40 points to lead 4th-ranked
Whitworth to an 88-69 win over visiting Willamette in a Northwest
Conference men's basketball game on Friday night.
Lewis & Clark 71, Pacific Lutheran

The Lewis & Clark men's basketball team won its fourth straight
game on Friday night, defeating the Pacific Lutheran Lutes 71-59 in
Northwest Conference action. The win moves the Pioneers to third
place in the conference standings.
Whitman 102, Linfield 53
The Missionaries came out of the blocks fast and used a suffocating
defense to beat Linfield tonight at George Ball Court 102-53. The
win moves Whitman to 4-3 in the NWC and 10-6 overall. The Wildcats
drop to 2-5 in conference and 3-13 on the
season.

Whitman 94, Willamette 87
The Whitman Men's Basketball team got 27 points from
forward Ben Eisenhardt (Jr, Bainbridge Island, WA) and 25
from point-guard Josh Duckworth (Los Angeles, CA) as the
Missionaries held off a tough Willamette club 94-87 tonight at the
Sherwood Athletic Center.
Pacific (Ore.) 89, Puget Sound 74
Pacific proved to be a can't miss proposition Saturday night,
blistering the nets for 57 percent from the field and 52 percent
from three-point range to roll past Puget Sound, 89-74, in
Northwest Conference men's basketball action at the Stoller
Center.
George Fox 66, Pacific Lutheran 61
Seth Brent blocked Cameron Schilling’s potential
game-tying three-pointer with three seconds left, then iced the
game with two free throws as the George Fox University Bruins
outlasted the Pacific Lutheran University Lutes 66-61 in a
Northwest Conference men’s basketball game Saturday night
here at the Wheeler Sports Center’s Miller
Gym.
Whitworth 80, Linfield 50
Fourth-ranked Whitworth hit nine of 13 three-point attempts in the
first half to open an insurmountable halftime lead on the way to an
80-50 victory over visiting Linfield on Saturday night.
