Friday's Men's Basketball Recap

Pacific Lutheran 72, Willamette 55
Pacific Lutheran University shot out to a 29-11 lead in the first 11 minutes and went on to defeat Willamette University, 72-55, in a Northwest Conference men's basketball game at Cone Field House on Friday, Feb. 8. The Lutes shot 60.0% in the first half and finished the game at 55.2% (32 of 58).

Pacific (Ore.) 85, Linfield 60
Colin Wester knocked down a game-high 29 points and the Pacific Boxers beat up Linfield 85-60 in a Northwest Conference matchup Friday night in Ted Wilson Gymnasium.

Puget Sound 92, Lewis & Clark 85
Derek Jobe stole the show on Friday in leading the Puget Sound men's basketball team to a 92-85 win over Lewis & Clark on Friday. Jobe went off for 36 points behind the strength of eight three-pointers to lead the Loggers (9-13, 4-9 NWC) to their third straight win.

Whitman 93, George Fox 77
The Missionaries moved closer to securing a home playoff game with just two opponents left in the regular season by defeating third-place George Fox at home tonight 93-77. Junior point-guard Josh Duckworth tallied 30 (two-points shy of his career-high) and fellow junior, forward Ben Eisenhardt, tied his career high by pouring in 29 points, as the Whits improved to 10-4 in conference and 16-7 overall.
