Senior guard Anthony Sanchez calmly canned four free throws in the final 11.9 seconds, icing a 61-56 come-from-behind win for visiting George Fox University over the Lewis & Clark College Pioneers in the Bruins’ Northwest Conference men’s basketball opener Saturday night here at the Pamplin Sports Center.

Whitworth 61, UC Santa Cruz 48
Only three nights after rolling up its best offensive performance of the season, the Whitworth men's basketball team turned up the defense in a 61-48 win over visiting UC Santa Cruz in a non-conference men's basketball game on Saturday night in the Whitworth Fieldhouse.

Rocky Mountain 83, Willamette 59
Willamette University scored the game's first six points, but Rocky Mountain College responded with an 11-0 run and never looked back, en route to an 83-59 victory over the Bearcats on Saturday, Dec. 1.
