victory Saturday afternoon in Las Vegas.

A close first half yielded way to a strong second half performance
on both ends of the floor by Pacific Saturday night as the Boxers
ran away with an 80-55 victory over Walla Walla in men's basketball
action at the Stoller Center.

Hamline University outlasted the Missionaries in a hard fought,
physical game at the Sherwood Athletic Center, 92 – 89,
ending Whitman’s 8-game winning streak.

The Lewis & Clark men's basketball team returned to action on
Saturday night in its first game since the Christmas Holiday. The
Pioneers headed to California to take on Whittier where they earned
a 78-69 victory.

Withstanding a game-high 27 points from Andrew
Batiuk (Soph., Tualatin, Ore.), Wisconsin Lutheran
University held on for a 78-73 nonconference win over Linfield

to the Gold and Purple Poet All-Tournament team following the
Pioneers 55-52 loss to Cal Maritime.
