With Whitman needing two NWC road wins to stay within striking distance of the conference leaders, Bathurst posted back-to-back 1-0 shutouts, including a Sunday victory at Willamette in which he withstood a second-half barrage of 12 shots and 11 corner kicks by the Bearcats. Bathurst made five of his seven saves in that game in the second half. He also made two saves against Linfield.
