Schumacher contributed both defensively and offensively as Whitman smothered two opponents for a pair of shutout victories.  While he and his mates on the back line yielded just six shots -- two on goal -- to Pacific, Schumacher put two shots of his own on goal and scored the game's third goal early in the second half to stifle any hopes for a Pacific comeback. Whitman's defense held George Fox to zero shots in the first half and three shots on the goal in the second half. Schumacher uncorked four more shots against George Fox and nearly scored again when his header kicked off the crossbar.
