Wednesday, Sept. 5

Northwest Christian 1, George Fox 0
In an evenly-contested non-conference men's soccer match that saw both teams take 18 shots with an equal number of six shots on goal, it was the visiting Northwest Christian University Beacons who got one to go in for a 1-0 victory over the George Fox University Bruins Wednesday night here at the Austin Sports Complex.

Tuesday, Sept. 4

Pacific at La Verne
Alex Arrington (So., Portland, Ore.) scored in the first half, but Boxers could not capitalize on opportunities in second half on Tuesday night in a 3-1 men's soccer loss against La Verne at Ortmayer Stadium.

Monday, Sept. 3

#4 Trinity (Tex.) 3, Willamette 2 (OT)
Willamette University freshman midfielder Austin Jacobson (Salem, OR/South Salem HS) scored twice, but #4-ranked Trinity University slipped past the Bearcats, 2-1 in overtime, in a men's soccer game on Monday, Sept. 3. The winning goal was scored by Brian Hines at 96:10.

St. Olaf 3, Pacific Lutheran 2 (OT)
A deflection on a clearance bounced over the head of Pacific Lutheran goalkeeper Joe Rayburn, giving St. Olaf a 3-2 overtime win in a non-conference men's soccer match played here Monday morning.

Puget Sound 1, UC Santa Cruz 0
An early goal proved to be enough for the Puget Sound men's soccer team as it defeated UC Santa Cruz 1-0 on Monday. Chris McDonald needed just one save to complete the shutout.

Cal Lutheran 2, Pacific 1
Pacific's Mark Watson (So., Clackamas, Ore.) scores first career goal with less than nine minutes left in the game, but is not enough to get past Cal Lutheran in 2-1 loss at Rolland Stadium.

Northwest 2, George Fox 0
A pair of first-half goals, the first on a steal and score and the second on a well-executed cross and shot, lifted the visiting Northwest University Eagles to a 2-0 win over the George Fox University Bruins in a non-conference men's soccer match Monday afternoon here at the Austin Sports Complex.
