With only just six shots for the match, the Pacific men's soccer team were shutout 2-0 by a tough Whitworth squad on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Park Stadium.
Pacific Lutheran 2, Willamette 1
Willamette University took an early lead on a goal by Tyler Yates (Fr., Kailua-Kona, HI/Kealakehe HS) at 11:13 and held the lead for most of the game, but Derek Johnson scored two goals for Pacific Lutheran University in the final 11 minutes, as the Lutes rallied past the Bearcats, 2-1, on Sunday, Sept. 23 at Sparks Field.
Puget Sound 1, Linfield 0
One goal from Sam Zisette was all 24th-ranked Puget Sound needed to get past Linfield as the Loggers beat the Wildcats 1-0 in a Northwest Conference contest Sunday afternoon at the Linfield soccer field.
Whitman 3, George Fox 1
Luke Hammer scored the first goal of the game to give George Fox University an early lead, but the visiting Whitman College Missionaries responded with three goals of their own to take a 3-1 win over the Bruins in a Northwest Conference men's soccer game Sunday afternoon here at the Austin Sports Complex.

A first half goal by Antonio Madeddu (Sr., Milwaukie, Ore.) led the Pacific men's soccer team to record their third shutout 1-0 over Whitman on Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Park Stadium.
Pacific Lutheran 3, Linfield 0
Brenden Cohen kicked off a scoring spree and Pacific Lutheran never looked back as the Lutes downed Linfield 3-0 in Northwest Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Linfield soccer field.
Whitworth 1, George Fox 0
A goal by Robby Ubben midway through the first half turned out to be enough to give the visiting Whitworth University Pirates a 1-0 win over the George Fox University Bruins Saturday afternoon here at the Austin Sports Complex, enabling the Pirates to retain at least a share of first place in the conference standings.
Puget Sound 2, Willamette 0
Willamette University and Puget Sound played a scoreless first half, but the visiting Loggers earned two goals in the first nine minutes of the second half to defeat the Bearcats, 2-0, in a Northwest Conference men's soccer game on Saturday, Sept. 22.
