Still hopeful of repeating as Northwest Conference men’s
soccer champions, the Pacific Lutheran University Lutes won a
crucial 3-0 victory over the George Fox University Bruins Sunday
afternoon here at the rain-drenched Austin Sports Complex, but lost
out on the crown when Whitworth University clinched later in the
day.
Puget Sound 2, Pacific 0
The Puget Sound men's soccer team scored twice in the first
half and Chris
McDonald made three save to shutout Pacific 2-0 on
Sunday. The Loggers (11-3-5, 7-2-4 NWC) received goals
from Andrew
White and Sean
Ryan to come away with the win.
