TACOMA, Wash. – With Spencer Watanabe winning 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles and five freshman winning at the other five singles, the George Fox Bruins got off to a strong start in NWC play with a 9-0 sweep of the host Puget Sound Loggers Saturday at the UPS Tennis Pavilion.

LEWISTON, Idaho – Ian Fisher collected a 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles but that was all the Whitworth Pirates could muster as they dropped an 8-1 decision to the NAIA's No. 13 Lewis-Clark State Warriors Saturday at the LCSC Tennis Center.

at Eastern Washington 7, Whitworth 0

CHENEY, Wash. – The Whitworth Pirates opened up the spring portion of their schedule against the NCAA Division I Eastern Washington Eagles and suffered a 7-0 setback, dropping the doubles and all six singles in straight sets Friday afternoon on the road.

SEATTLE, Wash. – Continuing its tough non-conference schedule, the George Fox Bruins fell to the NCAA Division I Fresno State Bulldogs Wednesday night at the Sandpoint Tennis Center in a match that ended up only 4-0 due to time restrictions on court availability.
