NWC Softball Student-Athlete of the Week for February 20-26

Prestianni smacked four extra-base hits - two homers and two doubles - to lead No. 1 Linfield to four victories to open the 2012 season. She hit .667 (8-for-12) with a 1.333 slugging percentage and .750 on-base percentage while racking up five RBI and 16 total bases. Defensively, she registered a .923 fielding percentage in 13 opportunities at third base. The Wildcats won four times this week, outscoring Concordia 17-6 and Whitworth 23-3. (The final two games against Whitworth were postponed to Monday due to inclement weather.)
