MARSHALL, Texas – No. 17 Whitworth finished its season with a 37-11 record, setting a school record for wins, as No. 10 East Texas Baptist used two multi-run innings to hold off the Pirates 7-5 in the finale of the Marshall Regional Sunday, sending the host Tigers to a super-regional next week.

MARSHALL, Texas – Madi Perez won her 25th game and Rheanne Lewis went 3-for-3 with a home run to lead 17th-ranked Whitworth to a 3-1 win over 10th-ranked East Texas Baptist Saturday afternoon, forcing a final winner-take-all game Sunday for the championship of the Marshall Regional.
