Kowlaski had a strong weekend in the pool for the Loggers, winning six of seven events that he participated in. His three individual wins came in the 200 IM (2:01.53), 100 Back (53.19) and 200 Back (1:58.34).

Wormwood took either first or second in every race she entered this weekend, setting a new UPS season best in the 200 Breast (2:28.73) against Whitworth and in the 200 IM (2:18.56) against Whitman.

Darling helped the Whitworth men win their 70th consecutive NWC dual meet by winning three individual events against Whitman, including the 400 I.M and 500 free. His winning time in the 1,650-yard freestyle (16:13.57) is the best in the NWC this season.

Lecoq won two individual events and swam the butterfly leg of the winning medley relay. Her time in the 100-yard butterfly (59.01) bettered her own NWC-leading time this season and the medley relay time (1:52.22) is the fastest in the conference this year.

Jeremic was the top swimmer for the Loggers as they resumed the 2009-10 season. He helped Puget Sound to two first place relay finishes at the Cal Lutheran Relay Invite and won both the 200 Free (1:47.99) and the 100 Fly (53.27) in a dual meet against Pacific.

Charlotte Graham

Mercer Island, Wash./Mercer Island

Graham won the 200 Free (2:00.07), the 100 Fly (1:00.70) and the 200 Fly (2:20.89) this weekend and was part of two winning relay teams as Whitman swept a pair of dual meets on the road. She helped the Whitman women run their NWC dual meet record to 5-0 for the first time in school history. Earlier in the week, she helped two Whitman teams place second at the Cal Lutheran Relays.

PLU trailed entering the final leg of the 200 free relay on Saturday when Nord, swimming anchor, came back to give the Lutes the event win and a team victory over College of Idaho. Individually, Nord won both the 50 free (22.68) and 100 free (49.76).

Major: Physics

Mantei was the only Pacific individual event winner (200 Breast, 2:20.90) as the Boxers swam against two NCAA Division II schools, Mesa State and Grand Canyon. His second place time in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:04.33) was a Pacific season best and was his first time in the event this season. Mantei also swam on two relays for the Boxers.

Major: Kinesiology/Business Management

Buck automatically qualified for the 2010 NCAA Division III Championships with his time in the 200 Breaststroke and reached the evening finals of a US Senior National Championship meet, the highest level of competition in the country.

Major: Exercise Science

Kobayashi won four individual events and one relay in a pair of home dual meets last week. He set season-best times in the 50 free, 100 back, 100 fly and 200 IM.

Woodward shared high point honors with teammate Rory Buck by winning three individual events (100, 200, and 500 free) and swimming on four winning relays. He led Whitworth to the Northwest Invite team title.

Elizondo won every individual event she entered this weekend in two separate winning meets. Against Pacific Lutheran, Kelsey had a time of 9:51.89 in the 800 Free and 1:09.25 in the 100 Fly. In the meet against Willamette, She added first place times in the 200 Fly (2:30.58), 400 Free (4:53.43) and 200 IM (2:36.86).
