2006-07 NWC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the WeekFeb. 19NWC Player of the Week: Katy Campbell (George

12.0 rebounds in a pair of key victories that lifted the Bruins
into a tie for first place. She added four assists and two
blocks. Feb. 12NWC Player of the Week: Katy Campbell (George
Fox, Jr., F, Springfield, Ore. - Thurston) scored 30 points on 73.3
% shooting from the field to lead the Bruins to a pair of wins. She
added 14 rebounds and five assists. Feb. 5NWC Player of the Week: Allison Craven (Puget
Sound, So., G, Yakima, Wash. - West Valley) shot 57% from the field
to score 38 points in a pair of Logger victories. She added six
rebounds, four assists and three steals. Jan. 29NWC Player of the Week: Crystal Castle
(L&C, Jr., G, Rocklin, Calif. - Rocklin) made 63% of her shots
from the floor and 92% from the free throw line to scored 38 points
in two wins. She added 13 rebounds. Jan. 22NWC Player of the Week: Katy Campbell (George
Fox, Jr., W, Springfield, Ore. - Thurston) led the Bruins to a pair
of road victories with 26 points and 13 rebounds. She scored the
winning basket at PLU before blocking the potential tying shot. Jan. 15NWC Player of the Week: Susan McDaniel
(Whitworth, So., P, Newport, Wash. - Newport) averaged 20 points
and 9.5 rebounds, while making 69.6% of her shots from the field in
two games. Jan. 8NWC Player of the Week: Melissa Marek-Farris
(George Fox., Jr., P, Glide, Ore. - Glide) averaged 12.5 points and
9.0 rebounds in two key home wins. She made 67% of her field goals
and added six blocked shots. Jan. 3NWC Player of the Week: Kelsey Krumdieck
(Whitman, Jr., F, San Diego, Calif. - Rancho Bernardo) was named
the MVP of the Whit Classic II after leading the Missionaries to
two wins with 36 points (75% FG), 16 rebounds and 4 assists. Dec. 22NWC Player of the Week: Nikki Johnson (PLU,
Sr., F, Tenino, Wash. - Centralia CC) scored 32 points, while
sinking 13 of 17 shots, in the Lutes' win. She added 10 rebounds.
Her total is the sixth highest single game total in school
history. Dec. 11NWC Player of the Week: Kelsey Krumdieck
(Whitman, Jr., F, San Diego, Calif. - Rancho Bernardo) made 17 of
29 shots in two games to score a total of 40 points. She added 15
rebounds and six assists. Dec. 4NWC Player of the Week: Susan McDaniel
(Whitworth, So., P, Newport, Wash. - Newport) led Whitworth to a
2-0 NWC start (5-0 overall) by making 52% of her shots from the
floor. She averaged 14.0 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Nov. 27NWC Player of the Week: Amy Pedersen (Pacific,
Jr., G) scored 44 points and grabbed 21 rebounds to lead the Boxers
to a 2-1 week. Pacific won at Concordia and vs. Cal Maritime before
losing in OT to highly ranked NAIA Menlo. Nov. 20NWC Player of the Week: Nikki Johnson (PLU,
Sr., W, Tenino, Wash. - Centralia JC) was the MVP of the UPS Tip
Off Classic after scoring 37 points and grabbing 28 rebounds in two
