NWC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week (Jan. 14-Jan. 20)

Henson tallied a career-high 28 points to go along with eight rebounds as the Wildcats challenged but eventually succumbed to host Whitman, 69-58. On the floor for 39 minutes and getting little offensive support from her teammates (the next highest point total was six), the sophomore shot 13-for-20 from the field and 2-for-4 from long range to lead all scorers. The following night against Whitworth, she shared game-high honors with 19 points, grabbed eight boards, dished out three assists, made three steals and blocked one shot attempt. She continues to rank in the top five in the league for points (13.2) and rebounds (9.1) per game.
