NWC Student-Athlete of the Week (Dec. 17 - Dec. 23)

Hays gave the Bruins critical minutes off the bench as
the nationally-ranked Bruins went 3-0, winning two games against
D-II teams on the road and their NWC opener at home over Pacific.
She scored a career-high 21 points and just missed a double-double
with nine rebounds in a win at Azusa Pacific in the APU
Invitational, then scored 12 points with 7 boards in a win over Pt.
Loma a day later. She hit 3-of-4 shots for 6 points and had 7 more
rebounds in the Bruins' OT win over Pacific. For the week, the 6-3
sophomore post averaged 13.0 ppg and 7.7 rpg while shooting .583
(14-24) from the field and 1.000 (14-14) from the line.
