Whitworth 72, Pacific Lutheran 53
The Whitworth women's basketball team forced 22 Pacific Lutheran University turnovers as the Pirates defeated the Lutes, 72-53, in Northwest Conference play in Whitworth Fieldhouse on Saturday.

Pacific (Ore.) 69, Willamette 39
Seniors Heather Hitch (Sr., Enumclaw, Wash.) and Paige Jensen (Sr., Bemidji, Minn.) combined for 30 points to help the Pacific women's basketball team collect their first Northwest Conference victory 69-39 over Willamette on Saturday evening at the Stoller Center.

Puget Sound 56, La Verne 49
The Puget Sound women's basketball rode a solid defensive performance to it fifth straight win. The Loggers (5-1) defeated La Verne 56-49 in the first game of the Hampton Inn Classic.

George Fox 57, UC Santa Cruz 40
With All-American center Hannah Munger making a successful debut after missing the season’s first three games, the George Fox University Bruins raced past the University of California-Santa Cruz Banana Slugs 57-40 on the first day of the Hampton Inn Women’s Basketball Classic Saturday evening here at the UCSC’s West Field House.
