Sunday's Women's Basketball Recap

Lewis & Clark 76, Linfield 33
Tayler Wang (14) was one of three double-digit scorers for Lewis & Clark, which dominated from start to finish in a 76-33 Northwest Conference victory over Linfield Sunday evening at Ted Wilson Gymnasium.

Puget Sound 70, UC Santa Cruz 52
The winning streak reached six on Sunday as the Puget Sound women's basketball team cruised past UC Santa Cruz 70-52. The win avenged the Loggers only loss of the season, which came against the Banana Slugs in the season-opener.

George Fox 73, La Verne 47
Junior guard 
Hayley Cusick connected on nine of 12 field goals en route to a career-high 19 points, leading the 20th-ranked George Fox University Bruins by the University of La Verne Leopards 73-47 Sunday afternoon in the Hampton Inn Women's Basketball Classic here at the University of California-Santa Cruz's West Field House.

Lewis-Clark St. 76, Willamette 55
Led by Annie Kane with 17 points and Tanis Fuller with 11 points, Lewis-Clark State College shot 54.2% from the field to defeat Willamette University, 76-55, in a non-conference women's basketball game on Sunday, Dec. 2 at Cone Field House. The Warriors improved to 2-9 on the season, while the Bearcats dropped to 0-7.
