Jami Roos set a new George Fox University record with eight three-point field goals, but it took Hannah Munger’s rebound basket with three seconds left to lift the Bruins over the visiting Warner Pacific College Knights 63-62 in their women’s basketball home opener Tuesday night here at the Wheeler Sports Center’s Miller Gym.
Pacific (Ore.) 57, Evergreen St.
The Pacific women's basketball team continues to stay perfect on the season after a 57-31 victory over Evergreen State on Tuesday evening at CRC Gymnasium.
Lewis & Clark 94, Northwest (Wash.)
The #6 Lewis & Clark women's basketball team picked up its eighth win of the season on Tuesday night after taking down the Northwest Eagles 94-56 in the Pamplin Sports Center. The Pioneers 94 points is the most under head coach Juli Fulks, overshadowing the teams 91-57 win over Haverford in 2007.
Concordia (Ore.) 69, Linfield 59
Malori Dixon scored 12 of her game-high 22 points over the final 20 minutes of action to key a second-half rally that lifted Concordia to a 69-59 nonconference victory over Linfield Tuesday evening at Cavalier Court.
Whitman 92, Walla Walla 30
Junior forward Sarah Anderegg (Redmond, WA) scored a season-high 17 points and the Lady Whitties forced 36 turnovers as they routed Walla Walla University on the road, 92 – 30, improving their early season record to 6 – 1. The turnover total was a team season-best, as was the point total, which topped the previous output of 85 in the win over Colorado College.
