George Fox 65, at Whitman 62

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – In a showdown for the No. 2 seed in the NWC Tournament and a home game in next Thursday’s semifinals, the #24 George Fox Bruins edged the #17 Whitman Blues 65-62 Saturday at the Sherwood Center behind 14 points each from Kaycee Creech and Kaitlin Jamieson.

Puget Sound 76, at Pacific (Ore.) 67

FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Samone Jackson set a new Puget Sound record for three-pointers in a season with 79 and the visiting No. 6 Loggers completed their first-ever perfect 16-0 conference campaign with a 76-67 win over the Pacific Boxers Saturday afternoon at the Stoller Center.

Lewis & Clark 83, at Whitworth 64

SPOKANE, Wash. - Ayisat Afolabi scored 16 points and had 11 rebounds, her 16th double-double of the year, and the visiting Lewis & Clark Pioneers hit nearly 50 percent of their shots in an 83-64 win over the Whitworth Pirates on Saturday evening at the Whitworth Fieldhouse.

at Linfield 65, Willamette 57

McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Riley Graham led Linfield with 13 points and the defense held visiting Willamette to 35 percent shooting from the field as the Wildcats pulled away in the fourth quarter for a season-ending 65-57 win over the Bearcats Saturday afternoon at Ted Wilson Gym.

SPOKANE, Wash. – No. 24 George Fox out-scored Whitworth 43-21 in the second half to take a 73-54 road win over the Pirates Friday as the Bruins remained tied for second in the NWC with Whitman, where they will play Saturday afternoon to determine the No. 2 seed in the NWC Tournament.

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman’s Chelsi Brewer stole an inbounds pass with six seconds left to preserve a 63-61 win over Lewis & Clark Friday, leaving the Pioneers as the No. 4 seed in the NWC Tournament with a Saturday match for the No. 17 Blues against George Fox for the No. 2 seed.

Linfield 79, at Pacific Lutheran 57

TACOMA, Wash. – Molly Danielson tossed in 20 points on 9-of-12 field goals and hauled down 10 rebounds for a double-double and Dani Krier added 16 points as the Linfield Wildcats ran away from the host Pacific Lutheran Lutes 79-57 Friday evening at Names Family Court.

Pacific (Ore.) 61, at Willamette 58

SALEM, Ore. - Sarah Curl scored a season-high 33 points and hit the basket that put Pacific ahead for good as the Boxers, who led by 14 entering the final quarter, hung on against a Willamette Bearcats’ squad that tied the game with 2:23 left for a 61-58 victory Friday night at Cone Field House.

TACOMA, Wash. – Samone Jackson scored 28 points and moved within two three-pointers of a new Puget Sound season record with 77 as the No. 6/7 Loggers thrashed crosstown rival Pacific Lutheran on the road 91-60 on Tuesday night and closed in on a perfect NWC record with one game left.
