SPOKANE, Wash. – No. 24 George Fox out-scored Whitworth 43-21 in the second half to take a 73-54 road win over the Pirates Friday as the Bruins remained tied for second in the NWC with Whitman, where they will play Saturday afternoon to determine the No. 2 seed in the NWC Tournament.
WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Whitman’s Chelsi Brewer stole an inbounds pass with six seconds left to preserve a 63-61 win over Lewis & Clark Friday, leaving the Pioneers as the No. 4 seed in the NWC Tournament with a Saturday match for the No. 17 Blues against George Fox for the No. 2 seed.
TACOMA, Wash. – Molly Danielson tossed in 20 points on 9-of-12 field goals and hauled down 10 rebounds for a double-double and Dani Krier added 16 points as the Linfield Wildcats ran away from the host Pacific Lutheran Lutes 79-57 Friday evening at Names Family Court.
SALEM, Ore. - Sarah Curl scored a season-high 33 points and hit the basket that put Pacific ahead for good as the Boxers, who led by 14 entering the final quarter, hung on against a Willamette Bearcats’ squad that tied the game with 2:23 left for a 61-58 victory Friday night at Cone Field House.
