Lauren Larson scored three goals and Hannah Bush added three assists as the Pacific Lutheran women's soccer team opened the Seth Spidahl era Friday afternoon with a 4-2 victory over the visiting Trinity Lutheran College Eagles.
Augustana (Ill.) 1, Puget Sound 0
The Puget Sound women's soccer team owned the majority of possession but came up short in a 1-0 loss to No. 19 Augustana. The Loggers (1-1-0) held a 15-6 shot advantage but couldn't find a way past the Augustana (3-0) keeper.

Leah DeMoss and Ally Witt scored two goals apiece to lift fourth-ranked Wheaton to a 4-0 win over Whitworth on the first day of the women's half of the Whitworth Soccer Classic.
Willamette 2, Whittier 1
Ashland Bernard (So., F, Kirkland, WA/Juanita HS) of Willamette University scored on a 16-yard shot that hit the crossbar and bounced just inside the goal line with 11:26 remaining, as the Bearcats defeated Whittier College, 2-1, at Sparks Field on Friday, Sept. 7.

The Lewis & Clark women's soccer team was defeated 1-0 by the University of La Verne Leopards Friday night at Ortmayer stadium.
