Saturday's Women's Soccer Recap

Linfield 2, Whitworth 1 (OT)
With just 11 seconds remaining in the first period of overtime, Emily Fellows (Jr., Portland, Ore.) got her head on a loose ball in the box and sent Linfield to a much-needed, emotional and well-earned 2-1 victory over Whitworth in a Northwest Conference match Saturday afternoon at the Linfield soccer field. 

Pacific Lutheran 1, George Fox 0 (2OT)
Lauren Larson hit a left-footed rocket from just outside the penalty area into the far side netting in the second overtime on Saturday afternoon, giving Pacific Lutheran a 1-0 Northwest Conference women's soccer victory over the visiting George Fox Bruins at East Field.

Puget Sound 3, Lewis & Clark 0
The Puget Sound women's soccer team returned to its winning ways Saturday afternoon at East Field with a 3-0 win over the visiting Lewis & Clark. The Loggers (6-3-1, 5-1-1 NWC) got on the scoreboard when Kylie Beeson put home a rebound off a Theresa Henleshot in the fourth minute.  Puget Sound would soon add another goal when the leading goal scorer Amalia Acorda-Fey lofted a shot over the head of Lewis & Clark goalkeeper Geena Fong from about 25 yards out. 

Pacific 2, Willamette 1 (OT)
McKenna Davidson (Fr., Kailue, Hawaii) scored the game-winning goal in overtime to secure a 2-1 victory over the Willamette Bearcats in Northwest Conference action at Lincoln Park Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
