Whitman 1, Whitworth 1

Just when it appeared Whitworth had scored the goal that would
claim an important Northwest Conference women's soccer victory,
visiting Whitman tallied the tying goal less than 30 seconds later
in a 1-1 contest on Wednesday afternoon.
Lewis & Clark 3, Willamette 1
Lewis & Clark College broke a 1-1 tie midway through the
second half on a goal by Taylor Hudson and added an insurance goal
by Emily Thompson with 3:21 left in the game, as the Pioneers
defeated Willamette University, 3-1, on Wednesday, Oct. 10 at
Sparks Field.
George Fox 4, Pacific 0
Michelle Young scored two goals and assisted on
another before leaving with an arm injury late in the game, leading
the George Fox University Bruins to a 4-0 win over the Pacific
University Boxers as the second half of the Northwest Conference
women’s soccer season got under way Wednesday night here at
the Austin Sports Complex.
