Sunday's Women's Soccer Recap

Pacific (Ore.) 2, Linfield 1
Seniors Sarah Tuffey (Sr., Valencia, Calif.) and Kaitlyn Harper (Sr., Oregon City, Ore.) scored two goals in their last home match to help the Pacific women's soccer team claim a 2-1 victory over the Linfield Wildcats on Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Park Stadium. 

Whitman 1, Willamette 0
Whitman College scored the game's only goal in the second half, as the Missionaries defeated Willamette University, 1-0, in a Northwest Conference game on Sunday, Oct. 28 at Sparks Field. The Missionaries improved to 5-11-3 overall, 4-8-3 in the Northwest Conference, while Willamette dropped to 5-12-1 overall, 3-10-1 in the NWC. 

Puget Sound 3, George Fox 1
Keeping alive their hopes for an 11th straight Northwest Conference women’s soccer title, the University of Puget Sound Loggers broke open a scoreless duel with three second-half goals and went on to a 3-1 win over the George Fox University Bruins in a critical match Sunday afternoon here at the rain-soaked Austin Sports Complex. 

Lewis & Clark 1, Whitworth 0
Sarah Breninger's first half goal lifted Lewis & Clark to a 1-0 win over visiting Whitworth in a Northwest Conference women's soccer match on Sunday afternoon.
