Loggers Win Outright NWC Title - Sunday's Women's Soccer Recap

The University of Puget Sound women's soccer team earned their 11th straight Northwest Conference title Sunday afternoon. Going into the final day of the regular season, the Loggers needed a result to ensure at least a share of the trophy with Linfield.  By earning three points, they claimed the outright title and the NWC's automatic qualifying bid into the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship Tournament.

The streak continues for the Puget Sound women's soccer team. A 4-0 win today over visiting Pacific clinched an 11th consecutive Northwest Conference title for the Loggers, extending the longest active title streak in Division III women's soccer.
