Portland St. 6, Lewis & Clark 1
The Lewis & Clark women's tennis team opened the season on Saturday with a home match against the Portland State Vikings. The Pioneers fell to the Vikings 6-1 in the L&C Tennis Dome. 

Whitman 8, Linfield 1
The Lady Missionaries defeated Linfield 8-1 at the Whitman Winter Classic, earlier today, to improve their early season record to 2-1, winning their second-straight match after edging UC Santa Cruz on Thursday 5-4.

Starting their 2013 women’s tennis spring season off with a tough NCAA Division I opponent, the George Fox University Bruins dropped a 7-0 decision (D-I counts the three doubles matches as one point) to the Portland State University Vikings Saturday here at the Club Green Meadows indoor courts.
