The day started with an upset as the Puget Sound volleyball team split a pair of matches against top-10 teams. The Loggers (5-2) defeated the hosts, No. 9 Juniata, in four sets but fell by the same count to No. 5 Wittenberg.

Kailana Ritte-Camara (21 kills, 21 digs) and Audrey Frazer (60 assists) helps carry Linfield past Northland and Carleton Saturday at the Bethel Invitational.

The Lewis & Clark volleyball team had its hands full with the Evergreen State Geoducks on Saturday afternoon in the teams final match of the EGS Invitational. The Pioneers battled the Geoducks through five sets, pulling out a 3-2 (25-23, 25-23, 23-25, 19-25, 15-12) win.
Willamette 3, Greenville 0; Dominican 3, Willamette 2
Willamette went 2-2 in the 2012 Star Classic, with two five-set losses to Dominican University, the host team. The Bearcats are now 2-4 on the season. Dominican won the Star Classic title with a 4-0 record to improve to 6-2 on the season.
Whitworth 3, Whittier 0; Whitworth 3, Whitman 1
Junior Jalana White and freshman Nicole Leonard led the Whitworth volleyball team to two victories on Saturday to take the Whit Classic title in the Whitworth Fieldhouse.

After a tough 3-2 loss to the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges Athenas, the George Fox University Bruins bounced back with a 3-2 win over the University of Redlands Bulldogs on the final day of the Cal Lu Fornia Invitational women's volleyball tournament here Saturday afternoon, finishing with a 1-3 overall record in the event.
Luther 3, Whitman 1
The Women's Volleyball team lost 3-1 against Luther College at the Whit Classic in Spokane. After dropping the first two sets, Whitman came back to win the third set 25-22. Whitman was led by middle blockers Olivia Nielson and Corie Brewer. Brewer andJazmin Moledina led the Missionaries with seven kills a piece and Nielson chipped in six kills and six blocks.

Marie Rewick's (Fr., Honolulu, Hawaii) 23 kills helped Pacific put together a pair of competitive efforts Saturday as the Boxers dropped their final two matches in the Cal-Lu-Fornia Volleyball Invitational, hosted by Cal Lutheran University at Gilbert Arena.
