Wednesday's Volleyball Recap

George Fox 3, Lewis & Clark 1
Led by 16 kills and a .378 hitting percentage by freshman Lucy Capron, the George Fox University Bruins opened Northwest Conference play with a 3-1 win (25-27, 25-10, 26-24, 28-26) over the Lewis & Clark College Pioneers in women's volleyball action Wednesday night here at the Wheeler Sports Center's Miller Gym.

Concordia 3, Pacific 0
Setter Emily Farnham (Fr., University Place, Wash.) finished with her second double-double of the season Wednesday, but the performance was not enough to quell a solid Concordia (Ore.) hitting attack as Pacific fell to the host Cavaliers in three sets Wednesday, 25-19, 25-13, 25-16, in volleyball action at Cavalier Court.

Western Ore. 3, Willamette 0
Western Oregon University achieved 18 kills in the first set to gain momentum, and the Wolves went on to defeat Willamette University, 3-0, in a non-conference volleyball match on Wednesday, Sept. 12. The Wolves downed the Bearcats, 25-12, 25-18, 27-25.
