Friday's Volleyball Recap

Puget Sound 3, George Fox 1
Puget Sound volleyball head coach Mark Massey notched his 300th career victory at Puget Sound as the 15th-ranked Puget Sound volleyball team defeated visiting George Fox in four sets. Marissa Florant's 18 kills led the Loggers (14-5, 8-3 NWC) to the victory. 

Pacific 3, Lewis & Clark 2
The Lewis & Clark volleyball team dropped a nail-biter to Pacific, battling through five sets before falling 3-2 (16-25, 25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 12-15). 

Pacific Lutheran 3, Linfield 1
Brianne Vincent and Haley Urdahl paced the offense and the Pacific Lutheran defense recorded 93 digs and 10 blocks as the Lutes defeated visiting Linfield, 26-28, 25-17, 25-9, 25-22, in a Northwest Conference volleyball match played Friday night in Olson Auditorium. 

Whitman 3, Willamette 0
Whitman College held off Willamette University in three consecutive sets to defeat the Bearcats, 3-0, in a Northwest Conference volleyball match at Cone Field House on Friday, Oct. 19. The Missionaries won 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.
