NWC Volleyball Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 8-14

Leenstra averaged 3.88 kills per set and achieved a .500 hitting percentage (31-2-58), as Willamette went 2-0 during the week with a 3-2 win over Linfield and a 3-0 win over Pacific. She recorded 22 kills and hit .526 in the win over the Wildcats. She added 9 kills, had no attacking errors and hit .450 in the victory over the Boxers. During the week, she also earned 3 service aces (0.38 avg.), 10 digs (1.25 avg.) and 3 blocks (0.38 avg.).
