NWC Men's Runner of the Week: Frank Prince (UPS, Jr., Port Angeles, Wash.) won the L&C Pioneer Open with an 8k time of 25:32.29, leading the Loggers to a team victory.
Honorable Mention: Aaron Hollingshead (Willamette, Sr.); Doug Blackburn (Whitworth, Jr.); Alex Henry (Lewis & Clark, Jr.); Conor Flynn (Whitman, Sr.).

NWC Women's Runner of the Week: Sierra Witnov (Whitman, Sr., Santa Barbara, Calif.) won the Big Foot Invitational, running the 5k course in 18:50.
Honorable Mention: Sarah Smith (Pacific, Fr.); Dayna Rumore (Willamette, So.); Kristi Dickey (Whitworth, Jr.); Carla McHattie (L&C, Jr.); Bethany De Vilbliss (PLU).

Oct. 11

NWC Men's Runner of the Week: Doug Blackburn (Whitworth, Jr., Evansville, Ind.) finished second (top NWC runner) at the PLU Invitational, leading the Pirates to the men's team title. He ran 8 kilometers in 25:32.8.
Honorable Mention: Alex Henry (Lewis & Clark, Jr.); Michael Chuol (George Fox, So.).

NWC Women's Runner of the Week: Sarah Smith (Pacific, Fr., Lynden, Wash.) won the women's competition at the PLU Invitational, covering six kilometers in 22:27.9, a new Boxer record for the distance.
Honorable Mention: Anna McLain (George Fox, Fr.); Bethany De Vilbiss (Pacific Lutheran, So.); Kristi Dickey (Whitworth, Jr.); Carla McHattie (Lewis & Clark, Jr.).

Oct. 4

NWC Men's Runner of the Week: Aaron Hollingshead (Willamette, Sr., Portland, Ore.) was third out of 261 finishers at the Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational College Division race, completing 8 kilometers in 24:24.3, tying for the second-best time in Bearcat history.
Honorable Mention: Doug Blackburn (Whitworth, Jr.); Alex Henry (L&C, Jr.); Conor Flynn (Whitman, Sr.); Tyler Nugent (PLU, Jr.)

NWC Women's Runner of the Week: Danya Rumore (Willamette, So., Sagle, Idaho) took third place of 271 finishers at the Willamette Invitational, running 5k in 17:36.9, the third best time in Bearcat history.
Honorable Mention: Sarah Smith (Pacific, Fr.); Kristi Dickey (Whitworth, Jr.); Sierra Witnov (Whitman, Jr.); Bethany De Vilbiss (PLU, So.); Carla McHattie (L&C, Jr.).

Sept. 20

NWC Men's Runner of the Week: Doug Blackburn (Whitworth, Jr., Evansville, Ind.) was the top Northwest Conference finisher in the Men's Open race at the Sundodger Invitational, taking 7th in a time of 25:17 over 8 kilometers.

Sept. 13

NWC Men's Runner of the Week: Michael Choul (George Fox, So., McKenna, Wash.) won the L&C Invitational men's race on Saturday, covering 8 kilometers in 26:30.2. He led George Fox to a second place team finish.
Honorable Mention: Alex Henry (L&C, Jr.); Nick Parlee (Linfield, Jr.); Conor Flynn (Whitman, Sr.); Tyler Nugent (PLU, Sr.).

NWC Women's Runner of the Week: Sierra Witnov (Whitman, Sr., Santa Barbara, Calif.) finished second at the L&C Invitational, running the 6k race in 23:07.1. She was the top NWC finisher in the race.

Sept. 6

NWC Men's Runner of the Week: Michael Choul (George Fox, So., McKenna, Wash.) was the top NWC finisher at the Boxer Rebellion, finishing second in 26:52.67.
