Oct. 15

Men's Runner of the Week: Ian Batch (Willamette, Sr., Eagle, Idaho - Capital) finished 10th at the Mike Hodges Invite with a 4 mile time of 19:51.99. He was the 7th college finisher, trailing six Pac10 runners from Oregon and Washington, leading Willamette to 3rd place.
Honorable Mention: Harrison Wilson (Linfield, Sr.); Nick Gallagher (Whitworth, Fr.); Cam Eberhart (GFU, So.).

Women's Runner of the Week: Sarah Zerzan (Willamette, Sr., San Carlos, Calif. - Notre Dame) was the top college runner (3rd overall) at the Hodges Invite, running the 5k course in 17:07.05 and defeating the top runners from Oregon, Oregon St. and Washington.
Honorable Mention: Emily Timmer (UPS, So.); Rachel Giffey-Brohaugh (GFU, Sr.); Yasmeen Colis (Whitman, So.); Amanda Phillips (L&C, Sr.); Kelsey Owens (Pacific, Jr.).

Oct. 8

Men's Runner of the Week: Nick Gallagher (Whitworth, Fr., Bedford, Iowa - Bedford) won the men's race at the PLU Invitational, covering the 8 kilometer course in 25:08.81 and defeating his nearest competitor from WOU by 6.5 seconds.
Honorable Mention: Francis Reynolds (UPS, Fr.); Brian Woods (Whitman, Sr.).

Women's Runner of the Week: Brittany Hodgson (UPS, Sr., Grants Pass, Ore.) finished as the runner up at the 2007 National Preview meet, hosted by St. Olaf on the same 6k course as the upcoming national championships. She ran the course in 23:16.1 against some of the best runners in Division III.
Honorable Mention: Amanda Phillips (L&C, Sr.); Yasmeen Colis (Whitman, So.); Corinne Gogert (PLU, Fr.).

Oct. 1

Men's Runner of the Week: Ian Batch (Willamette, Sr., Eagle, Idaho - Capital) finished fourth out of 268 runners at the Charles Bowles Invitational, covering the 8 kilometer course in 24:36.95 and leading the Bearcats to a dominating team victory.
Honorable Mention: Jordan Ware (George Fox, So.)

Women's Runner of the Week: Sarah Zerzan (Willamette, Sr., San Carlos, Calif. - Notre Dame) defeated 264 runners to win the women's competition at the Charles Bowles Invitational, defeated her closest competitor by 11 seconds over the 5k course.
Honorable Mention: Brittany Hodgson (UPS, Sr.); Amanda Phillips (L&C, Sr.); Kelsey Owens (Pacific, Jr.); Rachel Giffey-Brohaugh (George Fox, Sr.).

Sept. 24

Men's Runner of the Week: Harrison Wilson (Linfield, Sr., Portland, Ore. - Sunset) finished second in the Bear Fete Invitational with an 8k time of 25:46.20. He was the top NWC and collegiate finisher in the race.
Honorable Mention: Dusty Caseria (Whitworth, So.); Jordan Ware (George Fox, So.); Brian Woods (Whitman, Jr.).

Women's Runner of the Week: Amanda Phillips (L&C, Sr., Phoenix, Ore.) won the Bear Fete with a time of 21:46.50 over six kilometers, defeating the second place finisher by 27 seconds.
Honorable Mention: Jo E Mayer (Whitworth, So.); Kelsey Owens (Pacific, Jr.); Yasmeen Colis (Whitman, So.); Rachel Giffey-Brohaugh (Whitman, Sr.).

Sept. 17

Men's Runner of the Week: Ian Batch (Willamette, Sr., Eagle, Idaho - Captital) won the Willamette Grass Course Meet, covering the 7.085 kilometer course in 22:18.63 and leading the Bearcats to the team title.
Honorable Mention: Nick Gallagher (Whitworth, Fr.); Jordan Ware (George Fox, So.).

Women's Runner of the Week: Emily Timmer (UPS, So., Tacoma, Wash. - Tacoma Baptist) won the college-division race at the Sundodger Invitational, beating 157 other runners over six kilometers with a time of 21:30.
Honorable Mention: Maddie Coffman (Willamette, Jr.); Rachel Giffey-Brohaugh (George Fox, Sr.); Jo E Mayer (Whitworth, So.); Kelsey Owens (Pacific, Jr.).

Sept. 10

Men's Runner of the Week: Shawn Pollard (Linfield, Jr., Hillsboro, Ore. - Hillsboro) was the top NWC finisher at the Lewis & Clark Invitational, taking second place with a time of 25:59.00. He finished two seconds behind the winner from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.

Women's Runner of the Week: Amanda Phillips (Lewis & Clark, Sr., Phoenix, Ariz. - Phoenix) won her second race in as many weeks, taking the L&C Invitational with a six-kilometer time of 22:05. She defeated 98 runners and won by 24 seconds.
Honorable Mention: Sara McCune (Whitman, So.); Corinne Gogert (PLU, Fr.).

Sept. 3

Men's Runner of the Week: Nick Gallagher (Whitworth, Fr., Bedford, Iowa - Bedford) was the top NWC finisher at the Whitman Invitational, taking second place on the 6k course in 19:46.65.
Honorable Mention: Paul Rapet (George Fox, So.); Sam Hennessey (Whitman, Fr.).

Women's Runner of the Week: Amanda Phillips (Lewis & Clark, Sr., Phoenix, Ariz. - Phoenix) outran a strong field to win the meet at Western Oregon, covering the 5k racecourse in 18:44.
Honorable Mention: Sara McCune (Whitman, So.); Rachel Giffey-Brohaugh (George Fox, Sr.)
