Basham set a season best at 6,000 meters with her time of 23:28 at the Beaver Classic. She finished in the top third of the field, which included over 100 runners.

Fisher won his third race of the fall season, taking top honors at the Puget Sound Invitational. He beat 75 other runners with a time of 25:57, leading the Wildcats to a second place team finish.

Klimek beat 75 other runners, ahead of the second place finisher by 15 seconds, to earn the individual crown at the Puget Sound Invitational. Her time of 22:23 helped Linfield to a 4th place team finish.

Phillips was PLU’s top finisher as the Lutes won their own invitational for the first time since the race was moved to the PLU golf course in 2004. His time of 27:10.59 was good enough for 5th place out of 51 runners.

Suzy led the Lutes to a win in their own invitational for the first time since the race was moved to the PLU golf course in 2004. She finished third overall, with a time of 23:31.04)

Fisher turned in the fastest time (24:39) among all NCAA Division III competitors and trimmed 30 seconds off his previous best effort on the same course at the Willamette Invitational this weekend. His final kick over the last 800meters surged him past defending Northwest Conference champion Francis Reynolds of Puget Sound, NWC title contenders Karl Dickman of Lewis & Clark and Leo Castillo from Willamette, as well as defending West Region champion Nicholas Gallagher of Whitworth.

Misterek was the first NCAA DIII runner across the line at the Willamette Invitational (17:51.13), helping Whitworth’s women finish as the top DIII women’s team in the meet. Dana finished fifth overall in a gigantic field of 203 runners.

Gallagher was the top NCAA DIII runner across the line in a meet that included NCAA DI Gonzaga and NAIA nationally-top 10 Lewis-Clark State College. His time of 26:20/89 was good for a 6th place finish among 88 runners.

Dana won the first-ever Erik Anderson Invite, defeating Janet Collar, who has run in two Olympic Trial meets, along with 101 other runners. Misterek’s time of 19:04.59 is on a five kilometer course.

Dickman shaved a minute off of his PR at the Sundodger Invite, leading the pack with 1000 meters to go. Karl finished third overall with a time of 24:54.42, ahead of every other Northwest Conference runner.

Misterek was the top NCAA DIII finisher in the Sundodger Invite, leading Whitworth to its highest-ever finish in the meet. The Pirates were behind only NCAA DII Alaska-Anchorage and NAIA power Simon Fraser. Dana’s time of 21:51.48 helped her to a fourth place individual finish.

Turner won the 55-runner women’s race at the Whitman Invite by nine seconds, with a time of 14:34.76 in the 4k event. She led her 25th ranked Whitworth team to a win over #22 Whitman and NAIA #9 Lewis-Clark St.
