NWC Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week for Sept. 24 - 30

Freeby placed 7th out of 212 runners and was the second NCAA Division III finisher in the Women's Cardinal 5K Race at the 38th Annual Charles Bowles Invitational. She helped Willamette place sixth in the team standings. The Bearcats achieved the top finish by a Division III team. Freeby's time of 18:22.09 was about 2 seconds away from WU's all-time Top 10 in the 5K.
