HILLSBORO, Ore. - Willamette's Jordan Jenkins is this week's NWC Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week.
Jenkins (Placentia, Calif.) averaged 20 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1 steal and 0.5 blocks per game in a split weekend for the Bearcats. He shot 61.9% from the field (13 fo 21) and hit 2 of 4 three-pointers. He scored 20 points in both games, giving him 20 or more points in five of Willamette's last six contests. The senior registered a double-double in the win over Portland Bible, 87-54, as he also grabbed 10 rebounds.
