HILLSBORO, Ore. - Whitworth's Ryan Grady has been named this week's NWC Men's Swimming Student-Athlete of the Week.

Grady (Gig Harbor, Wash.) posted five individual times that now lead the NWC by wide margins. He set a Logger Invitational meet record while winning the 200-breaststroke with a 2:02.92. He led off the winning 800-free relay with a legal split of 1:42.37, which is the best 200-freestyle time in the conference. He was also part of three winning relays, which all have the best time in the NWC so far this season.
